Türi Vodka Goes National

“If you must know something is true, simply taste it.”

Estonian proverb

One taste of TÜRI Vodka, the first truly Estonian super-premium vodka (100% created, sourced, distilled, and bottled in Estonia) to hit the U.S. market, and it becomes evident that Estonians take both this ancient proverb and their cherished vodka craftsmanship very seriously.

TÜRI was introduced to American consumers in September 2002. Since its debut, this unique Estonian vodka has pleased the palate of vodka lovers across the country in the hottest nightclubs and bars. First to catch on to TÜRI were New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. Soon after, demand spread from Boston to Washington D.C., and from Florida across the southwest to Arizona and Texas – even reaching distant Hawaii!

The key to growth is no secret. In the six short months since its launch, TÜRI has hosted over 80 events and has introduced over 30,000 consumers to Estonia’s best vodka. Additionally, over 100 articles have been written about TÜRI (many also focusing on Estonia), including a “Superb / Highly Recommended” rating from Wine Enthusiast. As a result, the buzz about both TÜRI Vodka and Estonia has grown significantly.

It is no secret that better vodka makes better drinks, and Estonians pride themselves on their tradition of producing ultra-fine vodka. As a result, TÜRI Vodka has unmatched elegance inside and out. Refined and notably smooth, TÜRI Vodka is crafted from Estonia’s freshest spring water and finest rye grain, then quadruple distilled and charcoal filtered. The finished spirit has a smooth, clean character (especially lauded by Wine & Spirits magazine), and a uniquely honeyed roundness on the end-palate.

TÜRI Vodka’s packaging reflects the quality of the vodka inside. Its clear bottle has a silver-toned cap (referencing another of Estonia’s great traditions: silversmithing) engraved with TÜRI Vodka’s trademark  device. The packaging reflects the intrinsic qualities of TÜRI Vodka, which is based on an ancient Estonian recipe enhanced by the best in modern technology at the renowned AS Onistar distillery, which has been continuously producing vodka since 1495.

TÜRI is honored to support Estonian endeavors in the United States. In the last two months alone, TÜRI has been poured at events with the EACCI, the Estonian House, and the Joint Baltic American National Committee (JBANC). In fact, during New York’s February Fashion Week, TÜRI was the exclusive vodka sponsor for up-and-coming designer Matthew Earnest, hosted at the Estonian House. TÜRI was also thrilled to support the EACCI’s black tie gala for Estonia’s 85th Anniversary of Independence in February, as well as the Estonian House’s Valentine’s Day celebration.

In March, TÜRI was served at the JBANC Security Conference, specifically in conjunction with the Joint U.S.-Baltic Foundation, which invests in the future of Estonia and other Baltic nations. Krista Tassa, President of the Baltic Business Information Network and the Estonian American Chamber of Commerce, was also in attendance.

In less than one year, TÜRI has established partnerships with four Estonian organizations, and TÜRI looks forward cultivating these relationships throughout the United States for many years to come.
